WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
 
Highly talented students who have been personally successful in the Parelli Program, have a passion for learning and helping others learn, embody the principles, and preserve the purity of the Parelli message. Personality traits we are looking for are:

BASIC INFORMATION:
 
 
 
Vocational Student Program: A 12-month student program for pre-level 4 graduates to immerse themselves on Campus in the Parelli Program. This program cost is $1,000/month which includes housing, but does not include food. 
 
Parelli Professional Candidate Program: An 8-week course on the Parelli Campus for Level 3 Graduates interested in becoming a Parelli Professional. This program costs $500/week plus housing and food. Campus housing and food packages are available. 
 
Externship Program: A 12-week intensive course for Level 4 Graduates which serves as the entrance course to the Parelli Professionals Program. This program costs $1,000/week plus housing and food. Campus housing and food packages are available. 
 
Intern Program: A 24-week program (where terms can be split) for Parelli Professionals to further their continued education on Campus in the four Parelli Business Savvys. This program costs $1,000/week plus housing and food. Tuition is available at a special, discounted rate of $1,000/month, if you commit to serving the entire term at once (i.e. 24-weeks). Campus housing and food packages are available. 
 
Apprenticeship Program: A 48-week program (where terms can be split) for successful graduates of the Intern Program to further their continued education on Campus in the four Parelli Business Savvys. This program costs $1,000/week plus housing and food. Tuition is available at a special, discounted rate of $1,000/month, if you commit to serving the entire term at once (i.e. 48-weeks). Campus housing and food packages are available.

All of us at Parelli Natural Horsemanship are thrilled to learn more about you and consider you for a Parelli Campus Study. For your application, please create a 5-10 minute YouTube video that gives us a clear idea of your history with Natural Horsemanship, what unique talents you have, and what fuels your passion for horses. The video below should answer the following questions. *Feel free to refer to your notes in the video—Keep it casual. We want to get to know you

 

Background

  1. Your history with Natural Horsemanship.
  2. What is your confidence level with horses?
  3. How often do you ride and play on the ground with your horse(s)?
  4. How many horses do you work with on a regular basis?
  5. How many horses you’ve owned in the past and own now?
  6. How many hours do you estimate you’ve ridden in your life? (For example: If you ride 1 hour/day, 5 days/week, that would be 250 hours/year)
  7. Have you ever shown horses? If so, what discipline and at what level?
  8. Please describe your involvement with the Parelli Program thus far. This should include:
    1. How many years you’ve been in the Savvy Club (if at all).
    2. Which Parelli courses you’ve taken.
    3. Parelli Lessons or Clinics you’ve been a part of.
    4. With which Parelli Professionals you’ve studied.

Goals

  1. What would you like to learn while on the Parelli Campus?
  2. What teams and/or committees have you been involved in? (Sports, riding clubs, etc.)
  3. Do you have Parelli Professional goals?
  4. Do you have other professional goals in the horse industry?
  5. Describe your 2-year plan. Where and who do you want to be two years from now?

Special Skills

  1. Please describe your skill set in facility maintenance and management (i.e. driving tractors, building fences, etc.).
  2. What experience do you have in horse husbandry and care?
  3. What business administrative/social media skills do you have?
  4. Please share any special talents you have.
